Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed-shooter arcade game where players defend themselves against waves of insects, including centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas, using your trusty bugblaster! Your goal is to survive as long as possible in this thrilling challenge. The bugblaster fires small darts at the segmented centipede, which can have between 10 and 12 body parts, including its head. When shot, each segment transforms into a mushroom, and each piece continues its descent independently toward you. To fully destroy the centipede, you must hit its head. Control your bugblaster using the keyboard or mouse to move around and shoot at the invading bugs. Stay alert, aim carefully, and see how long you can fend off the onslaught!
